Ingredients

  • 4 medium chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and pound the thick end with the heel of your palm until they are even in thickness.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the flour and lemon pepper seasoning. Add the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large, non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Turn the chicken over, reduce the heat to medium, and let it cook for another 8–10 minutes until fully cooked through. Remove from the pan.
  5. In the same pan, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add the chicken stock, whipping cream, and more lemon pepper seasoning—bring this mixture to a boil.
  7. Allow the sauce to boil for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan, mixing it into the sauce until perfectly combined.
