Description

A hearty and flavorful skillet dish featuring ground beef and a variety of vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (any color)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chop the potatoes, onion, bell pepper, and garlic, as well as gather all remaining ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break it apart evenly.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  5. Stir in the diced potatoes and mix thoroughly.
  6. Add the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  8. After the potatoes are cooked, add the frozen mixed vegetables and stir. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
  9. Once done, remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
