- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ cup beef broth (optional, for a saucier version)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for 8–10 minutes until slightly tender and lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef with onions and garlic until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Return potatoes to the skillet. Stir in paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Optional: Add beef broth for a saucier dish and simmer 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For best flavor, use fresh herbs if available.
- This dish can be served with bread or rice for a more filling meal.
