Description

A hearty dish featuring ground beef and diced potatoes, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup beef broth (optional, for a saucier version)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook for 8–10 minutes until slightly tender and lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef with onions and garlic until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Return potatoes to the skillet. Stir in paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Optional: Add beef broth for a saucier dish and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
