Delicious and festive Christmas tree-shaped rolls, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until frothy.
- Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour to form dough. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
- Mix filling ingredients until smooth.
- Roll dough into rectangle, spread filling, slice strips, and shape into Christmas trees. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover rolls and let rise 30–45 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake 18–22 minutes until golden. Cool slightly.
- Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls. Decorate with sprinkles.
- Serve warm or store in airtight container.
Notes
- For a sweeter glaze, adjust the amount of powdered sugar.
- These rolls can be frozen after baking for later enjoyment.
