Description
This delicious dish combines tender chicken, Banza pasta, and a refreshing tomato cucumber salad, topped with a spicy Calabrian chili sauce.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz Banza chickpea pasta
- Water and salt for boiling
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 large cucumber, diced
- ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1–2 teaspoons Calabrian chili paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Bring salted water to a boil. Add Banza pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 7–9 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Pat chicken dry and season with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Slice the chicken.
- In a bowl, combine tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, parsley, olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk Greek yogurt, chili paste, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Divide cooked Banza pasta into bowls. Top with sliced chicken and tomato cucumber salad.
- Drizzle generously with Calabrian chili sauce.
