Description

A delicious creamy chicken dish made easily in the slow cooker.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 can (10 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle gravy mix and garlic powder over the chicken.
  3. Spoon cream of chicken soup on top and spread evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  5. Once tender, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Garnish with parsley or pepper if desired.
