Description

Deliciously flaky shrimp and crab rolled in crescent dough, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Crescent Roll Dough (Store-bought for convenience)
  • 12 oz Shrimp (Chopped)
  • 8 oz Crab Meat (Canned, drained)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar/Mozzarella) (Optional)
  • 2 scallions Green Onions (Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (Can substitute with fresh garlic)
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning (Classic seafood seasoning)
  • to taste Salt and Pepper (For seasoning)
  • 1 egg Egg (for brushing) (Can substitute with melted butter or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, crab meat, chopped shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy—around 2-3 minutes of mixing should do the trick!
  2. Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking those golden delights.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough carefully. Place a spoonful of the shrimp and crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle, then fold the dough over and seal the edges well. Keep the seam side down on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Whisk an egg and brush it over the tops of the bombs for that gorgeous golden finish.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  6. After baking, let the bombs cool for about 5 minutes before serving. They pair wonderfully with a dipping sauce like spicy mayo or classic cocktail sauce.

Notes
