Pizza on Naan Bread

Description

Delicious and quick pizza made on naan bread with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pizza Toppings of choice (see notes)
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (to garnish)
  • 4 slices Naan bread
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Brush the outer edge of each pizza where the crust will be.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the top of each pizza, leaving room around the edge where the crust is.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese in an even layer over the top. Add desired pizza toppings, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes. Rotate baking sheet/pizza stone 180 degrees and bake for 5 more minutes. Ovens vary slightly, so check on it 2 minutes beforehand.
  6. Remove from oven and create one vertical and one horizontal slice using a long chef’s knife or a pizza cutter. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired and serve with garlic bread with cheese.
