A warm and comforting gingerbread latte perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 tablespoon light molasses (or 1 tbsp dark brown sugar)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon gingerbread spice mix (or 1/8 tsp each ginger, cinnamon, cloves, allspice)
- 1/4 cup milk of choice (for foam)
- 1/4 cup strong coffee (or 2 espresso shots)
Instructions
- Combine and heat 1 cup milk of choice, 1/2 tablespoon light molasses, 1/2 teaspoon gingerbread spice mix, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Use a milk frother or whisk in a saucepan on the stove until hot, but not boiling.
- Optionally, for extra thick foam topping, whisk 1/4 cup milk of choice until airy. Pour the gingerbread spice milk into a mug and top with the milk foam.
- Brew 1/4 cup strong coffee or pull a double espresso shot. Instant espresso/coffee dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water works too.
- Pour the coffee shot on top of the spiced milk and foam to complete the gingerbread latte. Dust with a touch more gingerbread spice.
Notes
- For a sweeter latte, adjust the amount of molasses or brown sugar to your preference.
- Feel free to add whipped cream on top for an indulgent treat.
