Delicious and festive caprese skewers perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 24 fresh mozzarella balls (small and medium sizes)
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 1 small carrot (thinly sliced for noses)
- 1 tsp black peppercorns (for eyes and buttons)
- 12 bamboo skewers
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry tomatoes and basil leaves.
- Thread one cherry tomato onto each skewer, followed by a medium mozzarella ball and a smaller mozzarella ball.
- Insert small carrot pieces into the top mozzarella ball to form noses.
- Press peppercorns gently into the mozzarella to create eyes and buttons.
- Fold basil leaves and place between mozzarella layers as scarves.
- Arrange skewers on a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
Notes
- Make sure to use fresh mozzarella for the best texture and flavor.
- These skewers can be assembled ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
