- 1 pound boneless (skinless) chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (or oven to 400°F/200°C).
- Thread chicken cubes onto soaked bamboo skewers, leaving space between each piece.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Whisk in honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar; bring to a simmer.
- Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the sauce, cooking until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
- Grill chicken skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting with sauce.
- Remove from grill, let rest, and serve warm with extra honey garlic sauce.
