Description

A delicious side dish featuring sautéed white button mushrooms mixed with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 24 oz white button mushrooms (washed and cut into 4 wedges)
  • 4 TBSP canola oil
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 small carrot (shredded, about 1/4 cup grated)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Pour the oil into the pan and add the mushrooms, carrots, and onion.
  3. Sauté for 15-17 minutes until juices evaporate and mushrooms become nicely brown.
  4. Remove skillet from the heat and add salt, pepper, and sour cream then toss everything together.
  5. Serve immediately or cold.
