Description
A delicious side dish featuring sautéed white button mushrooms mixed with a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 24 oz white button mushrooms (washed and cut into 4 wedges)
- 4 TBSP canola oil
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 small carrot (shredded, about 1/4 cup grated)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat.
- Pour the oil into the pan and add the mushrooms, carrots, and onion.
- Sauté for 15-17 minutes until juices evaporate and mushrooms become nicely brown.
- Remove skillet from the heat and add salt, pepper, and sour cream then toss everything together.
- Serve immediately or cold.
